What We Loved

The spacious, green landscape appealed to us immediately. It almost made us forget that we were in the middle of the city and we regretted not bringing our kites! There were numerous people fishing, riding bikes, playing at the playground and enjoying the dog park and it never once felt crowded. It was very peaceful, clean and well maintained.

What We'd Like To See Instead

This park needs a trail that connects all of its amenities. We were hoping to ride our bikes from the playground to the fishing pond, but instead had to get in and out of the car in order to explore. This is probably only a problem for families with younger children. Older and more experienced riders could navigate the city streets, though there are no bike lanes.
